Kabir Shahani Profile

Kabir Shahani

Chief Executive Officer As co-founder of Amperity, Kabir started the company with the vision of using data and software to unleash the potential of marketers and analysts with the world’s leading consumer brands. Appature, his previous venture, was acquired in 2012 by IMS Health after six years in the cloud-based software market. Earlier in his career, Kabir was named one of BusinessWeek's Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs of 2009 and was awarded the U.S. SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2012. He has a bachelor’s in informatics from the University of Washington.

Derek Slager

Chief Technology Officer Derek co-founded Amperity to create a tool that would give marketers and analysts access to accurate, consistent and comprehensive customer data. As CTO, he leads the company’s product, engineering, operations and information security teams to deliver on Amperity’s mission of helping people use data to serve customers. Prior to Amperity, Derek was on the founding team at Appature and held engineering leadership positions at various business and consumer-facing startups, focusing on large-scale distributed systems and security.

Amy Kelleran Pelly

Chief Financial Officer Amy brings over two decades of financial and operational experience at venture-backed tech and publicly-traded enterprise software companies. Previously, she held multiple roles at Onyx Software, where she helped the company go public in 1999, and served as its CFO while generating $120 million in revenue. Amy also served as CFO for Basho Technologies, doxo, Gist (acquired by Blackberry), Tegic (an AOL subsidiary acquired by Nuance), and Wildseed (acquired by AOL). She earned her business administration degree from the University of Puget Sound.

Brian Goldfarb

Chief Marketing Officer Brian brings years of experience as a tech marketing leader. Prior to Amperity, he was CMO and SVP of business development at Chef Software (acquired by Progress). Previously, Brian was CMO at Splunk, leading the business through a major digital marketing transformation. He has also served as SVP, Platform at Salesforce; head of marketing, Cloud Platform at Google; and had various product marketing and product management roles at Microsoft. Brian holds an A.B. from Duke University in computer science and economics.

Michael Wasyluka

Michael Wasyluka

Chief Sales Officer Michael has more than 25 years of sales, marketing and operations experience, with 15 years focused on Digital Marketing SaaS Technology. He was most recently the COO of Cheetah Digital, where his responsibilities included driving growth, client retention and services engagement across the global business. Prior to that, Michael was the CEO at Simply Measured, a Seattle based Social Analytics company, and has also held executive level sales positions at Monetate, Salesforce/ExactTarget, and Webtrends.

Christina Miller

Christina Miller

General Counsel Christina advises the company on a wide range of legal issues, focusing on privacy and commercial matters. Before Amperity, she was Associate General Counsel at Affirm, a consumer finance startup. Christina previously was VP and corporate counsel at Prudential Private Capital. She began her career in private practice as an associate at the law firms of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and Allen & Overy in London. She received her law degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.

Chris Jones

Chris Jones

Chief Product Officer Chris joined Amperity in June of 2018 with over 25 years of experience delivering products and bringing large-scale services to market at Microsoft. Previously, he co-created and was director of Healthcare NExT from Microsoft, which accelerated healthcare innovation through AI and cloud computing. In his earlier years at Microsoft, Chris led product development as the corporate vice president of OneDrive and SharePoint, Windows, Internet Explorer, and Publisher. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematical and computational sciences from Stanford University.

Mary Miller

Mary Miller

SVP, Business Operations & People Mary focuses on the intersection of business strategy, company culture, and employees. She’s passionate about unlocking potential in both individuals and teams. Before Amperity, Mary designed and scaled some of Amazon's first global executive and leadership development programs. Prior to that, she worked in the non-profit sector. Mary graduated from Western Washington University with her bachelors in humanities and social sciences and is also a certified Executive Leadership Coach via Georgetown University.

Barry Padgett

Barry Padgett

President, Field Operations and COO Barry joined Amperity after spending nearly two decades at Concur Technologies in various roles before eventually becoming president. Following SAP's acquisition of Concur, he served as president of global procurement at Ariba, and president of Chicago-based contingent labor platform FieldGlass. As CRO, he was also instrumental in helping to build the distribution engine at FinTech powerhouse Stripe. Barry received his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Union College, his MBA in information technology from AGSM at UNSW Business School in Sydney, Australia, and his master’s degree in software engineering from the University of Oxford.

Rajeev Singh

Rajeev Singh

Co-founder, Concur Rajeev Singh is CEO of Accolade, the market-leading on-demand healthcare concierge for healthcare consumers. Rajeev joined the company as a board member, investor, and CEO in November of 2015. In 1993, two years after graduating from college, Rajeev co-founded Concur, the global travel and expense management leader. His initial roles during the years of inception focused on product management and development organizations. In the 20 years that followed, he worked in nearly every position at the company—for the last nine years of his tenure, he served as president, COO and board director. Rajeev attended Western Michigan University and Kettering University.

Matt Mcllwain

Matt Mcllwain

Managing Director, Madrona Venture Group Matt has been the managing director for Madrona Venture Group for over two decades. He invests in a broad range of software-driven companies focusing on companies in the cloud, machine learning and intelligent apps spaces. Prior to Madrona, Matt was VP of business process for the Genuine Parts Company and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, concentrating on strategy and marketing in technology-driven sectors. Matt received his bachelor’s in economics from Dartmouth College and his MBA and master’s in public policy from Harvard.

Founder & CEO, Beauty Marks Entertainment; Co-founder, The House of LR&C Ciara is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, producer, model, actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the founder and CEO of Beauty Marks Entertainment (BME), a production company with a business model built on fully supporting the artist. She is also co-founder of The House of LR&C, a fashion brand focused on sustainability and impact. These businesses are vehicles for Ciara to bring together her deep passions for music, film, fashion, technology, and community engagement.

Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson

president and ceo, Starbucks Kevin is president and ceo of Starbucks Corporation. In his three decades of work, Kevin spent 16 years at Microsoft, five years as CEO of Juniper Networks, and multiple years serving on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, where he served George W. Bush and Barack Obama. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
